The collection includes more than 400 current subscriptions to U.S.
law reviews, many with complete runs back to the original volume. State
and local bar journals are available on microfiche. In addition, the
collection includes the St. Paul and Minneapolis daily newspapers, the Wall
Street Journal, and The New York Times. The Minneapolis and
New York subscriptions include the weekend editions; the library retains
the most recent three months for all these papers.
In the library there is electronic access to the full text of the St.
Paul Pioneer Press (back to 1988) and the Minneapolis Star
Tribune (back to 1986).
Electronic indexes in the library include the EBSCO databases, LegalTrac, HeinOnline, Westlaw and Lexis.
All but Westlaw and Lexis are available remotely to the library's subscribers. Every journal HCLL subscribes
to is in the online catalog, regardless of whether we receive it electronically or in hard copy.
