There is an increasing amount of legal information available for no
charge on the Internet; check our Legal
Web Sites page.
But, actually coming to the Law Library will give you access to much
more legal information than is available on the Internet.
For example, most legal treatises are published by companies who
charge for Internet access to them, but all the treatises we own are
available to everyone in the Law Library. Similarly, most case law more
than 15 years old is not available on the Internet, but Law Library
users have free access to print and electronic case law reporters.
